Description
This course forms part of a skills programme for the Further Education and Training Certificate in Generic Management NQF Level 4 qualification.
In this course, methods, procedures and techniques to organise a work unit are applied in accordance with organisational requirements.
The activities of the work unit are analysed and adjusted in order to align to the organisational strategies. As well as resources are allocated to achieve the developed plan.
This course focuses on planning and covers three unit standards that may be completed with or without assessment:
- Unit Standard 242814 – Identify and explain the core and support functions of an organisation
- Unit Standard 242816 – Conduct a structured meeting
- Unit Standard 242818 – Describe the relationship of junior management to other roles
These unit standards form part of the FETC: Generic Management NQF Level 4 qualification (SAQA ID: 57712). On successful completion you would obtain credits and will be able to apply for exemptions should you want to complete the full qualification.
