Enza learnership graduation 2017
Enza Construction expressed the need to train (15) fifteen previously disadvantaged learners on the Further Education & Training: Business Administration Qualification NQF level 4. The learnership started on the 26th of August 2016 and ended on the 25th of August 2017. During the learnership, the 15 learners attended forty (40) days of face to face training at Chartall Campus.
The core component of the Business Administration learnership is to offer learners the knowledge and skills to function effectively in an office environment. Specifically, training covers the following key areas: management of records, comprehension of written and verbal texts, business writing, problem solving, ethics, cultural awareness, self-management, self-development, project teamwork and business policies and procedures.
The group has stated on numerous occasions that this was an amazing journey for them and that they have truly benefitted from it. They were also very open and honest. It is understood that many members of the group considered quitting at some point during the process. With the right support from their group and facilitator, however, they stayed on board and are thankful for the opportunity.
Chartall thoroughly enjoyed working with this wonderful group of learners and we wish them all the best in the future.
