Curriculum description
Moderators typically conduct the internal or external moderation of outcomes-based assessments. The internal moderator reviews the assessment process and outcomes prior to referring the results to the certification partner, while external moderators are typically appointed by a SETA or other accrediting body to ensure that all providers apply the same standards and follow the same academic rigours. Moderators also moderate assessment tools prior to implementation.
