A Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, said “the only thing that is constant is change”. That is probably more true now than in 500 BC when he said it.
Change is an unavoidable constant in our working and personal lives. Sometimes the change is within our control, but most often it’s not. Things are changing from technology, to travel, to education and the workplace. So, we need to take up the challenge and start to learn how to cope with change.
Remember : you don’t need to change, survival is certainly not compulsory. But if you want to survive you need to learn to change.
Why should I do this course? This coping with change training will help you to learn new skills so that you can more easily navigate the transition from the old, comfortable reality to the new, somewhat scary, reality.
Why is this course important in a work setting? Digital disruption is commonplace these days and many of us fear losing the security of our jobs as rapid digitalisation takes place. But the good news is that if we understand the change process and the reasons for it we can better change-proof ourselves and contribute to the success of our company’s change process.
