This subject will introduce you to the various aspects of management, especially the basic concepts and how they interrelate with each other. Firstly the themes central to management will be discussed and integrated in a practical manner with workplace examples.

The other main focus of the course will be the functions of management, which are Planning, Organising, Leading and Controlling. This is a highly practical course with emphasis on the workplace component and how to be a good general manager.
